NEW MUSIC: Kiah Victoria - Remedy

Kiah Victoria has been working on her craft steadily for quite some time. Back in 2013, Jay-Z filmed his 6-hour live art set and music video for ‘Picasso Baby’, Kiah Victoria was in the crowd and was invited by Jay-Z himself to perform during filming. She proceeded to blow the crowd away with her rendition of Jackson 5’s ‘Who’s Loving You’. Since then, she has treated us to two EP’s; ‘Look Up’ and ‘Gravitate’ along with a range of singles on her YouTube and Soundcloud channels displaying her dynamic range, powerful and sultry vocals and tight production.

In her newest single 'Remedy'; she sheds light on US politics and the current water crisis in Flint, attempting to ignite action in her listeners using perfectly disguised wistful melodies, guitar riffs and velvety vocals. She also samples a clip from Michelle Obama’s rousing speeches, succeeding in showcasing her talents as a singer and songwriter as well as producing a socially conscious track that invites us all to wake up to the injustices around us.

She is currently supporting Jessie Ware on her UK and European Tour and will be performing at the Eventim Apollo on March 28th, tickets are still available on Ticketmaster.
